The 3 Lakes Challenge
Ullswater, Coniston Water and Windermere
Our unique 3 Lakes Paddle Challenge is a fantastic team event paddling the length of Ullswater, Coniston Water and Windermere. For those with more energy we can include some additional activities to create a variety of challenge formats over 1 or 2 days. We offer two boat options for paddling - either using our superb 'Wilderness Systems' single Tempest or Zephyr sea kayaks or our double 'Northstar' sea kayaks. Depending on numbers we may need to use a combination of boat types. We have 12 single sea kayaks and 6 tandem sea kayaks available. Whilst we have open canoes we don't use them for this event as they are slow in comparison to our sea kayaks and their speed capability is easily affected by any wind.
All of these options represent a unique and breathtaking method to get amongst some of the Lake District's most stunning scenery, and as with all of our packages all you need is the enthusiasm and a good level of fitness and we will organise and provide the rest. At 3 Challenges we provide everything you need to undertake this challenge including a training session, all equipment and necessary clothing, expert guides, all logistical support and food and drinks throughout the day. If you have never paddled before then don't worry as this event is aimed at complete beginners as well as people with some experience and to date it is one of our most popular events with the vast majority of people booking having never paddled before!

- Paddle the 3 Lakes with our vehicles transporting you between lakes.
- This event can be run anytime between April and September.
- Minimum numbers are 8 people.
