National 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours

Ben Nevis 1350m, Scafell Pike 978m and Snowdon 1050m

The 3 Peaks Challenge is a very popular event in the UK with many people from all backgrounds attempting to undertake this 24 hour challenge. Many people underestimate how difficult this event really is and as a result a huge number will struggle to complete it due to fitness and possible injuries picked up along the way such as knee twists, ankle sprains or severe cramp. The challenge is more of an *endurance* event and as such some people do not possess the physical and mental stamina to complete the event in the specified timeframe of 24 hours. Some people drop out after the first mountain!

At 3 Challenges we firmly believe that only small groups should ever undertake this event . They also should have engaged in a detailed training schedule for at least 3 months prior to the event and have gained some mountain walking experience to appreciate the variety of terrain and weather conditions that can be encountered. Whilst there are numerous providers offering their services to groups to undertake the 3 Peaks Challenge we believe our high level of service, attention to safety and also our ethical approach to this event is unmatched. Having run the event for many years in our unique manner we have successfully completed the event with a great many satisfied clients.
