Edge 2 Edge Scrambling Challenge

Striding Edge on Helvellyn and Sharp Edge on Blencathra

This unique mountain challenge designed by 3 Challenges a number of years ago has gained popularity over other mountain events which are solely walking based as this challenge requires a degree of scrambling technique and certainly a good head for heights due to the exposed positions that you find yourself in.

Starting in Glenridding the challenge is to ascend Helvellyn via Striding Edge and then descend to Thirlmere. At this point you have 2 options to reach Blencathra and Sharp Edge – either in our company vehicle/s (15 minute drive) or the alternative and more physical option is to bike there using our Specialized mountain bikes. This event provides a superb alternative to many other extremely busy mountain challenge events and one worth considering if you are looking for your next adventourous team challenge.
